Brown named Player of the Week

Riley Brown of UBC has been named the Canada West Field Hockey Player of the Week.

Brown provided key offensive touch for the T-Birds in a weekend showdown with defending champion Victoria. She started the weekend by scoring the game winning goal in the 54^th minute of Saturday's 2-1 win. She then scored the T-Birds only goal in a 3-1 loss on Sunday, converting a penalty shot in the 41^st minute.
