Brandon got behind in the second set as well, before the Bobcats put some young stars on the floor and that seemed to spark them. The BU women's team battled back from a 14-8 deficit to take a 23-22 lead. The BU women's team won the second set in comeback style to even the conference match.

The Bobcats pushed back with a strong effort late in the set to make it 20-19, but that is as close as they would get in the contest.
Nikala Majewski had a match-high 16 kills and rookie Shayla Heinrichs had a strong showing with seven kills for the Bobcats, who slipped to 0-and-6.
Calgary improved to 5-and-1, behind 14 kills for Laura McManes.
