Heat WVB face Bisons after bye week
KELOWNA — Coming off of a bye weekend, the Heat women's volleyball team will be looking to pick up where they left off as they will defend their home court against the University of Manitoba this weekend.
The two squads will open the weekend on Friday (Nov. 11) with a game that will begin at 6 p.m. First serve of the second match between the two teams will be played Saturday (Nov. 12) with a start time of 6 p.m. Both the games will take place at the UBC Okanagan gymnasium.

Eisler earns 700th win
EDMONTON - University of Alberta Pandas head coach Laurie Eisler won her 700th career game, as her Pandas took down the MacEwan University Griffins 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 29-27), Thursday night at MacEwan’s City Centre Gym.

No.6 Dinos host Wesmen in home opener
CALGARY — The University of Calgary Dinos will kick off their home opener against the Winnipeg Wesmen on Saturday.
After taking the loss in three sets in their first game of the season against the No. 1 Trinity Western Spartans, the team rebounded the following night and took the win, 3-2. The Dinos will hope to keep the momentum going against a struggling Winnipeg team.
WolfPack women's volleyball set to battle Mount Royal
KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women’s volleyball team are hoping that it will be ‘home sweet home’ this weekend as they entertain the Mount Royal University Cougars in Canada West play.
The WolfPack — who were given honorable mention this week in the USport top 10 rankings—have a .500 record after a weekend sweep in Brandon (Nov. 4-5). They entertain the Cougars for matches on the Warner Rentals court at the Tournament Capital Centre Friday and Saturday (Nov. 11-12).
Mount Royal is .500 as well (1-1) after splitting with Manitoba two weeks ago.
