Dinos celebrate senior night against provincial rivals

CALGARY- The University of Calgary Dinos are looking to rebound after a tough weekend in Saskatchewan. The Dinos will play a home-and-home series against their provincial rivals the University of Alberta Golden Bears.
The Dinos fell into third place after last weekend's losses. Losing Friday's game 2-0 and Saturday's 8-2. Saskatchewan Huskies home barn is a hard place to play in and the Dinos struggled to find the back of the net.


Pronghorns host Bisons in key matchup

LETHBRIDGE - – Heading into the home stretch of the Canada West season, the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's hockey team will look to end a skid hosting the Manitoba Bisons for a pair of games with playoff implications on the line.
The 'Horns and Bisons will hit the ice at Nicholas Sheran Arena Friday night at 7:00pm and Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm. Both games will be also streamed live on, home for all Canada West webcasts.



T-Birds battle for playoff berth against Huskies

VANCOUVER - With points in four of their last six games, the UBC Thunderbirds (7-11-2) face a big test hosting the Canada West leading Saskatchewan Huskies (15-3-2) Friday and Saturday, January 20th and 21st, at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre.

With eight games remaining in the regular season, the T-Birds enter Friday night three points behind the Manitoba Bisons for the final playoff berth in the conference.



Cougars return home to host Mount Royal

REGINA - The University of Regina men's hockey time will be on home ice for the first time in 2017 this weekend, as the Cougars will host No. 8-ranked Mount Royal University for a weekend series.

Regina (3-16-1) is currently on an eight-game losing streak after being swept by Alberta last weekend in Edmonton. Ian McNulty and Kirk Bear had goals in a 6-2 loss on Friday, and Stephen Langford and Logan Harland scored in a 5-2 defeat on Saturday afternoon. Andy Desautels made 39 saves on Friday night and Dawson MacAuley stopped 35 shots on Saturday.
