Dinos face Huskies in playoff quarter-final rematch
CALGARY — In what is expected to be a re-match of last seasons playoff quarter-final the University of Calgary Dinos are looking for vengeance against the University of Saskatchewan Huskies.
Calgary split last weekends games, nearly completing the comeback in Friday's game against the University of Alberta Golden Bears.
After being down 2-0 heading into the second period the Dinos found their offence and tied the game with under a minute left in the third to force overtime, eventually losing shorthanded in double overtime.
The Dinos handed the Golden Bears just their third loss of the season Saturday with a 3-1 victory on home ice.
Red hot Bears host Bisons in weekend set
EDMONTON — Following a split against the Calgary Dinos last weekend, the U Sports No. 5 University of Alberta Golden Bears will host the Manitoba Bisons this weekend at Clare Drake Arena.
Game one will start at 7 p.m. on Friday night, with the rubber match scheduled for 6 p.m. on Saturday.

LETHBRIDGE — Heading into the final weeks of action of the first semester, the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's hockey team faces a good test this weekend, facing the U Sports sixth ranked Mount Royal Cougars in a home-and-home series.
Cougars at home for weekend matchup with Thunderbirds
REGINA — The University of Regina men's hockey team is on home ice this weekend to play host to the UBC Thunderbirds in a pair of Canada West contests at The Co-operators Centre.
Regina (1-9-0) dropped two road games last weekend, falling 7-0 and 6-2 to seventh-ranked Mount Royal University. Ian McNulty and Tyler Bell scored in Saturday afternoon's contest.
